Prior to leading SapientRazorfish, Ray cut his teeth in some of the best agencies in the world, such as Wieden + Kennedy, JWT, TBWA and Fallon, always exploring new ways of storytelling and making experiences feel like magic.
In the past 15 years, he has worked on China and regional accounts as varied as Starbucks, Levi’s, Jeep, Adidas, Beats by Dre., McDonald’s, Volkswagen, MOMO (China’s Tinder), Nike, Heineken and Citibank with 7 of these years in digital and traditional leadership roles.
While bagging various advertising awards such as Cannes, D&AD, Clio, The One Show, Spikes, AdFest and The Effies.
Ray is also an award jury member and speaker at Cannes, Spikes Asia, New York Festival, Busan Adstars, China Advertising Festival, and also guest lectures to students in HK Baptist University, HKPU and University of Gloucestershire.
In his tenure at SapientRazorfish, he has won creative and effectiveness awards, transformed the agency to a “Great Place To Work” and Campaign’s Agency of the Year Best New Biz Team to boot. And is recognized for his efforts as one of Campaign Asia’s 40 under 40 this year.
