Amal has 13 years’ experience in the media industry working across both traditional media and digital roles.

Having spent her entire career in media, she was lucky enough to take on a whole spectrum of roles including media planning, strategic planning, digital and management.

Amal started her career at UM and was part of the team that paved the way for UM’s exponential growth in market, winning accounts such as Coca Cola, Mondelez and L’Oreal, to name just a few.

As an early adopter of digital, she was responsible for growing the media department at Digital Republic, one of the earliest digital agencies in Egypt, back in 2011.

In her constant pursuit for new challenges, she joined Dentsu Aegis Network to support the launch of Carat into the Egyptian market. Her key responsibilities included operational set up, new business growth, and ensuring a strong offering in the market.

For her the best thing about work is the multi-faceted experience in an industry where you can never get bored. One day you are a strategist helping clients address important business issues and the next day you are unleashing your creativity on groundbreaking ideas!

A fun fact about Amal is that she always had a special interest in the Performance Arts and when not busy with media she is under the spotlight in small acting roles.
