During her career, Sophie held local, regional and global business leadership positions in Procter& Gamble for portfolio of brands and global business units. In her last role as Vice President, Global Innovation & Brand Building, and Europe CMO for Procter & Gamble, Sophie has led Global Brand Building reinvention and the digital transformation of P&G’s European business, from superior brand assets, media & communications and new business models, to a cutting edge marketing organization surrounded by an ecosystem of innovation partners and startups.
Sophie has been the architect of P&G successful business establishment in Israel during her 10-year tenure as CEO.
Sophie has been a mentor and advisory board member of start-ups for the last 15 years, some of which are now global leaders. Sophie founded P&G Israel House of Innovation (IHI) 13 years ago, Procter & Gamble’s first collaboration partnership with start-ups.
Sophie is also a lecturer, specializing in strategy, leadership and innovation. Named as one of the Women to watch 2018 by Ad Age Europe, Top 100 most influential people in Switzerland in 2017, and Top50 Most Influential Business Leaders in Israel over the last years, also featured in DMEXCO’s 29 Inspirational Female Leaders 2017. Sophie is determined to build a more equal and inclusive future. Sophie is actively involved with Girls in Tech (GIT) Switzerland, a global non-profit that seeks to eradicate gender disparities in high-tech industries and startups by engaging, educating and empowering women who are passionate about technology.
Today, Sophie Blum is Founding Partner in a newly created technology venture: YCOR, where she leverages her experience to contribute creating innovative data-driven solutions for Businesses and consumers with the aim of democratizing access to cutting-edge solutions such as AI or blockchain. Her vision is to drive inclusion and ensure all can participate into the unprecedented exponential data economy.
