Strategic Planning and Social Media Vice-president at DDB Latina. In his professional career he has worked as strategic planner in DDB Mexico, DDB Colombia, OMD Colombia and OMD Australia. He has worked on brand and media planning for accounts such as Volkswagen, McDonald’s, Movistar, Pepsi, Lipton, Henkel, BBVA, Hoteles.com, ExxonMobil and J&J, among others.

He has a Masters Degree on Marketing from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia). He has been lecturer at various universities in Colombia and he has been speaker in several academic events across Latin America and Spain.

On 2006 he was named Account Person of the Year by P&M Magazine (Colombia) and Regional Planner of the Year by AdLatina magazine (2012). Since 2008 he has been part of DDB’s Planning Futures Group, a global committee that included the most recognized planners across the Network. In that group, Juan co-leads the initiatives related to social media and innovation.

He is co-author in the Spanish version of the book “Hacker, Maker, Teacher, Thief: The Future of Advertising” published by Creative Social (2014).
