Director, Global Digital Brand Strategy @ Scotiabank
Gah-Yee is currently serving as Director, Global Digital Marketing Strategy at Scotiabank where she oversees digital marketing projects, from strategy to education to governance. In her role, she leads adoption of digital marketing across many lines of business throughout Central America, South American, Canada and the English Caribbean. Prior to Scotiabank, she was most recently at MediaCom, as the Director of Digital Strategy, in charge of thought leadership and education for all planners at the agency. Her portfolio of clients included Mars-Wrigley, PC Financial and Bayer. Previous to that, she served as Digital Account Director on P&G where she led digital execution for the agency’s largest client. Prior to joining MediaCom, she held the title of Director, Digital Activation at ZenithOptimedia, where she established the digital buying group; handled agency-supplier negotiations, ad ops and lead major innovation projects.
Gah-Yee is the co-chair of the IAB Canada Marketer COUncil and has actively participated in the Agency Council and Programmatic Committee. She has also contributed to several IAB conferences, including the Programmatic X-Series and MIXX.
Gah-Yee attended the University of Western Ontario and holds a BA Honours in Media, Information and Technoculture.
