EVP, Chief Strategy and Creative Officer @ The Economist Group
Since joining the Economist Group as the global director of content strategy, Mina has founded our creative strategy team, managed the global thought leadership and marketing solutions teams, and is now also head of The Economist Group’s New York office. Her team of strategists, researchers, editors and designers creates programs to help clients drive marketing and business outcomes. Additionally, Mina supports strategic initiatives across the broader publisher businesses; she is The Economist Group’s representative to the UN Women GICC and on the advisory council for the Digital Marketing Institute.
Prior to joining The Economist Group, Mina spent nine years at Ogilvy New York in a variety of roles, including co-founding the Advanced Video and Content Marketing Practices. Her clients have included American Express, Kraft, SAP, UPS, Philips, Time Warner Cable, Dove, Barclays, Microsoft, Citigroup, HSBC and GE.
Mina holds a BA in German and Russian from McGill University and an MA in Journalism from NYU. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children, who regularly remind her that her most important job is making apple-filled crepes on weekend mornings.
